Quick answer
If the verification page asks for camera access and the Grant access button does not work, your phone or browser may be blocking camera permissions. Allow camera access for the browser, then try verification again.

Why Barterloo asks for ID and selfie verification
Barterloo uses identity verification to keep the community safer and make sure users are real people. The selfie / ID step is a legitimate Barterloo safety step and may be handled through Stripe verification.
ID verification did not pop up
Verification should appear after login. If you skipped it, it may pop up again later. If it never appears, support should check whether the account has a plan and whether verification is attached.
ID verification stays on “Loading secure page…”
If Stripe verification stays on “Loading secure page…”, you may be stuck in the verification flow. Try reloading once. If it is still stuck, support should check whether verification is temporarily blocked, already completed, or failing on this device / browser.
“Something went wrong” after uploading ID or selfie
A “Something went wrong” message after submitting ID / selfie does not automatically mean your information was unsafe or stolen. In some real cases, verification had already completed even though an error appeared. Support can confirm.
